God Save The Groove Preview [Part 2]

Today's piece is a continuation of coverage for Kryder's God Save The Groove ADE Boat Party. In case you missed part 1 you can find that here.

After the huge success of last year’s sold out 300 capacity boat party at 2017’s Amsterdam Dance Event, Kryder returns to the water this year for the first ever Kryteria event ‘God Save The Groove!’ Doubling the capacity to 600 and featuring a talented host of yet-to-be announced special guests, the boat party is set to continue Kryteria’s impressive start and cement its place as a brand that you should look out for in the coming months and moving into 2019.

Setting sail at 3pm on Saturday, October 20th, the event will span 4 hours and include guests close to the label as well as Kryder himself. In addition, the party will also play host to a demo drop and private session with Kryder himself, so budding producers will have the opportunity to get their music heard and receive feedback from the label boss whilst soaking up the boat party atmosphere.

After launching Kryteria with the long-awaited Steve Angello collaboration “Romani,” and off the back of last year’s boat party success, this year’s event looks set to eclipse the previous edition and continue to set the standard for the burgeoning label’s reputation. As a special preview we’ve got loads of inside scoop from some of the confirmed artists on the lineup, so much so in fact, that we’ve broken the preview piece into two parts, with part two dropping now!

Gemellini B2B Fraanklyn
What are your thoughts on the Kryteria ADE 2018 Boat Party? How does it feel like to be part of the God Save The Groove event? What does the Kryteria family mean to you?
Gemellini: The God Save The Groove project is undoubtedly one of the hottest parties at this year's ADE and we are very very proud and honoured to be a part of it! What’s not to love about a sold out boat party with a wild crowd of people from around the world who all share the love for house music! Not to mention such a sick lineup! From the DJs to the fans and everyone else involved behind the scenes, it really feels like you’re a part of one big family! So fam let’s f**king party!!!

What can we expect from you on the future?
Gemellini: We can’t wait to show you guys what we’ve been working on! Fresh new music! More collaborations! More touring! More Gemellini!

Fraanklyn: For sure new music and shows, in the next days my very first melodic track will be released on Steve Angello's Size Records and I'm about to launch my brand new podcast so don't miss out!

Which artist are you excited to see on the boat party? Why?
Gemellini: We are honestly genuinely excited to see all of the artists onboard play as we are fans of them all! We are honoured to be a part of such a great lineup! Of course Kryder’s set we already know is going to be something truly special!

Fraanklyn: I'm so excited to finally meet Cato Anaya and Les Castizos boys, we used to speak a lot on socials, but this is going to be our first non-digital meeting! And of course my Greek friends Ace 2 Ace and Agent Greg – love them!

Tell us a track you are excited to play on the boat party.
Gemellini: Can’t wait to play our upcoming releases on Kryteria, fresh new IDs and some of our more known records. A track which we’ve received a huge amount of support recently is our remix of Eric Prydz – “Everyday” so looking forward to singing that out loud with everyone!

Fraanklyn: I can't wait to play my upcoming release on Kryteria Records and so many new IDs.

Siwell B2B Javi Reina
What are your thoughts on the Kryteria ADE 2018 Boat Party? How does it feel like to be part of the God Save The Groove event? What does the Kryteria family mean to you?
Siwell: I’ll back in Amsterdam after two years and I’m sure that it will be amazing! When Kryteria’s team asked me to be part of the party I had no hesitation on accepting. I really love the way that they are working on the label and I can feel their passion for this ADE event. This for me is the most important thing!

Javi Reina: Being part of this party and this project in general means a lot to me. First, a big thanks to those in charge, Kryder and all of his team, and second, I really think that the people who are involved have the potential to go very far and create a promising family together.

What can we expect from you on the future?
Siwell: In the past, I’ve had the pleasure to work with the most important artists from Todd Terry to Roger Sanchez and many others, but I was always focused on more tracks than I could do. Now I’ve changed the view to live my career, and I’m working in a different way. I’m very demanding now on my productions and on the labels which release them, so I prefer to have just three to four releases per year, but ones that I really feel are mine. First of all my next release will be on Kryteria, and I hope to release something else in future on the label too. Keep an eye out – I’ve got some other big projects that will be available this winter.

Javi Reina: A lot of groove, that's for sure, great tracks are yet to come!

Which artist are you excited to see on the boat party? Why?
Siwell: A lot of great artists will be there! I had the chance to meet Javi Reina in some gigs in Spain in the past so will be great to see him again and obviously the boss Kryder, Benny and all of the other guys that I’m sure I’ll have a lot of fun with.

Javi Reina: Sincerely all, some of them because they are my friends, and others because thanks to this type of event we have ended up knowing each other and later collaborating.

Tell us a track you are excited to play on the boat party.
Siwell: “On The Fly,” my new track on Kryteria. I already played it in my last gigs and the reaction was always massive! Hoping for the same reaction on the boat!

Javi Reina: Javi Reina IDs hahaha!

Agent Greg B2B Ace2Ace
What are your thoughts on the Kryteria ADE 2018 Boat Party? How does it feel like to be part of the God Save The Groove event? What does the Kryteria family mean to you?
Agent Greg: I witnessed this boat party last year and I am so hyped to be part of it now. There are so many friends or people I respect in the industry all gathered under the Kryder/Kryteria umbrella and I think the result will be a ride to remember!

What can we expect from you on the future?
Agent Greg: I am now focusing more on my original productions and selectively doing some remixes so you have to stay close! There is also a brand new website coming as well as an upgrade on my Obsessions radio show.

Which artist are you excited to see on the boat party? Why?
Agent Greg: It might sound kind of cliche, but I'm honestly curious to listen to every artist. Some of them I’ve already heard and liked their sets very much, some others, judging by their productions, I would really like to see what they can do behind those CDJs!

Tell us a track you are excited to play on the boat party.
Agent Greg: My new track “Rydm” which is coming out on Kryteria Records, and two to three more that will be ready to test there for the first time!

Dario Nunez B2B Frank Nitty
What are your thoughts on the Kryteria ADE 2018 Boat Party? How does it feel like to be part of the God Save The Groove event? What does the Kryteria family mean to you?
Dario Nunez: It's a pleasure to be on the best groove party of ADE with the best groovemakers!

Frank Nitty: I feel privileged to be part of this event. The Kryteria family means new pathways of music and it’s a very cool thing to be a part of it. I love everyone in our family and to see everything unfold, there’s no words to explain – just wait and see.

What can we expect from you on the future?
Dario Nunez: Latín & groove vibes with tribal and tech house dancefloor tunes!

Frank Nitty: More releases with Kryteria, I’ve got some super fresh singles coming out and crazy wicked Kryteria parties across the globe.

Which artist are you excited to see on the boat party? Why?
Dario Nunez: Playing with the boss Kryder and meeting groovemakers will be an honour for me, b2b with Frank Nitty will also be so exciting!

Frank Nitty: I have to be honest, most excited for my best friend Kryder because when we get together it’s just pure fun. Then again, the entire groove crew because when we are all together we just party like there’s no tomorrow!

Tell us a track you are excited to play on the boat party.
Dario Nunez: My new track for Kryteria records, “En El Agua,” pure Spanish vibes!

Frank Nitty: I have some Crazy IDs to show. Massive Latin vibes to share – you’re just going to have to see for yourself. See you all there!!
