Hey guys, thanks so much for joining us to celebrate your new release “Never Leave”! What’s the build up to the release felt like?
We are very excited that we can release our track on the label of one of the world's EDM icons. This is a particularly great feeling for us as we were able to repeat such success under a new alias, in a slightly changed style after our release on Revealed Recordings.
Take us inside the production – what was the initial inspiration and how did you progress from there to the final track that we hear today?
The vocals were certainly the initial inspiration for this track. We wanted to create something that would be perfect for listening everywhere – in the kitchen and in the club. It was an example of a track that in the production process itself led us forward and marked the path in which it wanted to go. A track always goes through a huge change from the first version, and it's no different here. Quite a lot of changes took place, but as a fun fact we can say that it’s one of the fastest finished tracks by us.

This marks your debut release on Darklight Recordings. What does it mean to have the support of Fedde and reach the milestone with only your third release under the HYPERCREW alias?
This is a very important moment in our career. Fedde is an artist whose sets we’ve watched from the very beginning of our adventure with EDM. As soon as we got feedback that he liked our song, we were very happy. Moments like this and appreciation from such music icons as Fedde make us believe in our abilities even more than before.
Can you talk to us some more about the sounds that HYPERCREW stand for? How would you describe your style as both DJs and producers?
Starting with the new alias, we had a specific idea for the sounds we wanted to go in, but it's very hard to assign it to one style. Our tracks contain elements of future house, but also bass house and some other genres, which we consider quite unusual. When it comes to sets, this is what we like the most in our music career. We love interaction with the audience, we always give 100% of our commitment and try to do everything that will make people have the best rave ever – it gives us energy and motivation to work in the studio on our own productions.

Take us inside your mind as you crafted your Spotlight Mix. How might the set compare to a current live show you would play?
First of all, our mix is very dynamic, we wanted to express as much fresh energy as possible through it, so we used some tracks in future rave style. We love to play a lot of tracks that allow the live audience to sing along with us, that’s why we have a large amount of mashups in our set. We think that this mix is similar to what we would present in our live DJ show, but for sure with the audience the effect would be even better!
Looking closer at your music selection, can you highlight three tracks or artists included and why they stand out to you?
We included tracks from Justus in our set. He’s a young artist who creates future rave tracks with the best quality. His music is pure energy so it had to be in our set. We love to mix pop and EDM in our sets, so here we’d like to highlight the vocals of Dua Lipa and Rita Ora, of whom we are huge fans. Their voices have a deep character, they make the audience feel something unique between the drops. Last but not least, we have to mention the track "Into The Unknown" by Hardwell. His return gave us a lot of emotions, especially since it brought a completely different perspective on electronic music and its current genres. We are very curious how it will develop and what the next years will bring in this industry. We are open to new sensations and experiences, therefore we observe these events with huge commitment.
Reflecting for a moment, was there ever a show you attended (or saw online) where afterwards you were determined to pursue a career as a DJ/producer?
For both of us, these were different sets. A breakthrough for Adam was Zatox's set at Qlimax 2010, after which he started making hardstyle music. For Sebastian, the sets from Tomorrowland 2014 were the first doses of motivation to find yourself in the same place as your favorite artists.

Let’s take a closer look at your dynamic as a duo. What are each of your strengths in the partnership? What do you enjoy about working together?
The most important thing in our duo adventure has always been that we both complement each other perfectly in everything we do. This allows us to squeeze 110% of what we can do individually. The fact that we like completely different music genres means that we have many more sources of inspiration and this helps a lot in the life of the producer and DJ.
Looking ahead, what are a few of your goals and dreams for HYPERCREW?
The most important goals for us are the next big releases to be able to reach new people with our music. Another significant goal is to get bookings in clubs and festivals in our country and abroad, because we haven’t had such an opportunity yet. We can't wait to play in front of another audience and share our emotions – that's what drives us the most!
In the shorter term, what’s keeping you excited and motivated on a daily basis? Do you have any other upcoming plans that you’d like to share?
We are motivated by the thought that each day in the studio brings us closer to achieving the goals we talked about earlier. In the near future, of course, we are planning more track releases, which we hope will see the light of day soon, and that is something we are very excited about and looking forward to.
